The ex presidential candidate and convener of #Revolution now protest, Mr Omoyele Sowore who has been in custody since August 3 is set to be released on bail.
His Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana visited the order of the court in Abuja which directed him to deposit his passport at the court’s registry as the condition for his release from custody.
A few hours later, Mr Femi Falana confirmed to Punch, that Sowore was still in custody even after meeting the bail conditions.
On the 8th of September, Justice Taiwo Taiwo allowed the DSS to keep Sowore in custody for only 45 days which expired last Saturday. Noteworthy however is the fact that barely 24 hours before the expiration of the 45 days, charges of treasonable felony and cybercrime were brought against him.
