Many escaped death yesterday at Upper Mission Road in Benin City as four vehicles were involved in a multiple car crash on Tuesday 28th April 2020.
The vehicles involved included an 18-seater bus, a red car, an ash car and a truck filled with 7Up drinks. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred as the drivers were rushing to beat the 7pm curfew imposed by the Edo state government.
The 10-day trial of the dusk till dawn curfew imposed by Governor Godwin Obaseki will elapse tomorrow and reviewed to see if it yielded positive of negative results on slowing the spread of the Coronavirus Pnademic.
As at the time of this report, no casualty had been recorded.
