#Congoisbleeding and the world is silent!

The world is largely still silent when it comes to the over 6 million Congolese people that have been killed since 1996, of whom about half of them were children. Because of the instability and lack of leadership after the Congo Wars, started by King Leopold 11 of Belgium in the early 1900s, there are an estimate of over 100 rebel groups.

The continuous killings and abuses of Congolese people, most of them women and children, have been worsen by the ongoing exploitation of Congo’s natural resources.

Rumor has it that some Western Countries instigated this genocide in order to benefit largely from the resources in Congo.
